Presentation of the class 2.d

Our line of studies contains social studies and English. The line of studies has a special focus on community and globalisation. With the subjects social studies and English on the highest level (a) the class get a suitable knowledge to work with international business and teamwork. In addition to this we get a historical and cultural knowledge about the conditions in the English-speaking world. With math on the second highest level (b) we get an insight to the economical world.

The class consists of 26 students with 5 boys and 21 girls at the ages of 16-18. Most of the students come from Varde and surrounding areas. Two students come from Bosnia, one comes from Turkey and we have an exchange student from Romania. He is going to stay with us a whole school year (August-June).

A normal school day for 2.D starts at 8 o’clock. We have 3-4 classes a day. 1 class lasts 90 minutes with a 10 minutes break. During the day there are to major breaks, one on 15 minutes and one on 30 minutes. On the enclosed schedule you can see a normal week for the class, the subjects of the class, the levels, the teachers and the locations. The social relationships in the class are good. In the breaks the students are gathered around a table, where we talk about everything from weekend’s experiences to the next essay.

Together we are having special parties, like Christmas-lunch and birthdays parties. Here we are gathered outside school-hours to have fun. We also have a cake arrangement, where we by turns bake cake to the whole class.
